I always look at the room design first and only after checking out the hotel amenities. The reason is simple - I will spend much more time inside in my room than by the pool or at the hotel's restaurant.
🍸Amenities are important too and can make a huge difference. H10 Duque De Loule hotel in Lisbon has two bars and a restaurant. Limão Rooftop Bar is open till 10 pm and offers not only snacks and refreshments but also amazing views. When I first saw its picture, I was sold and booked a room without any doubt.
🛏️However, the standard double room is pretty small (only 24 square meters), and it feels like a good portion of it is occupied by the bathroom.
Because we didn't have our luggage for the whole time we stayed there it was enough space for us, but I can't imagine having two suitcases there.
