Madrid experience like no other

Let me introduce you to one of my favorite places to visit in Madrid - Palacio de Cristal, or The Glass Palace. 🏰🌿

It's open from 10 am till 10 pm every day all year round, but you really want to time your visit wisely. ⏰ At 11 am, 1 pm, and 3 pm, the fog machines go off and turn this glass building into a magic kingdom! 🌫️✨

The fog you see in the pictures here is how it looks after it has already dissolved quite a bit, so imagine this dreamy effect multiplied by ten! 😍📸

It is located in the middle of Retiro Park, which is a great place for an afternoon picnic. 🌳🍽️ Relax, take a break from busy city streets, and enjoy some people-watching (my favorite thing to do when I travel). 👀🍃

The easiest way to get to The Glass Palace from the city center is to take the metro to the Retiro station 🚇 and walk across the park. 🚶‍♀️🚶‍♂️

Once your nature break is over, you can quickly walk over to the Prado Museum. 🏛️ I walked all the way back to the Plaza Mayor, and it took about 40 minutes. Madrid is a very walkable city, and it's great to experience it on foot. 🚶‍♂️🏙️
