Devil’s Bridge
Experience this moderately challenging 3.9-mile out & back trail to witness the largest natural standalone arch in around 1 hour and 40 minutes. With the elevation gain of around 521 ft, this is a very popular area, so expect to encounter fellow explorers. Fair warning: although the hike is relatively short, it offers a steep climb at the end. Watch your step!
Cathedral Rock
Generally considered a challenging route, this 1.2-mile out & back route will take around 53 minutes to complete, with an elevation gain of 741 ft. To reach the top, you will need to scramble up a variety of rocks, allowing you to observe the naturally occurring rock formations in the heart of Red Rock Country. Be sure to maintain three points of contact at all times!
Soldier Pass
This moderately challenging trail is a 4.5-mile loop with an elevation gain of 839 ft, taking 2 hours and 5 minutes to complete. In a highly popular area like the Devil’s Bridge, prepare to encounter others!
Red Rock
The Red Rock State Park is a 286-acre nature preserve, consisting of scenic desert cliffs, buttes, and spectacular rock formations. In the midst of the desert, there are green meadows framed by native vegetation and hills of red rock. The contract will leave you speechless.
Sedona Airport Loop
This is a moderately challenging 3.2-mile loop, taking 1 hour and 22 minutes to complete, with an elevation gain of 416 ft. This is a popular area for not only hiking but for trail running and walking as well. Be aware of the rocky terrain on this hike and any potential challenges it may impose.
